Hand therapy is the method of evaluating and treating injuries related to the upper extremity of the body including the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, shoulder, or entire arm. Our certified hand therapists use specific techniques to help return a patient to doing things they love.

Hand/Wrist therapists are also Occupational Therapists (OT) or Physical Therapists (PT) who, through extensive continuing education and significant clinical experience are skilled in using advanced therapeutic techniques, state of the art equipment, and custom fabrication of both static and dynamic splints to help return each patient to the highest level of function possible.

About 20 years ago, I dislocated my right ankle during a bull riding event. Because I was actively competing as a professional bull rider, I did what I could to support the area, and continued to compete. After the season, I had surgery to repair it. Although the surgery helped stabilize the area, I continued to have constant daily pain. I ran into George from PT ReVolution (at club mx) and he did a quick assessment. I explained that the surgeon said I had a cartilage issue, and it would never get better according to him. George felt he could help. After assessing me, and then performing a couple of different treatment techniques, he asked me to take it for a "test drive". My pain was significantly less than it had been in the past 20 years. It has been a couple months since we saw each other, and the improvements have continued. I can notice muscles that have atrophied, beginning to rebuild. I’m also walking more normal. I am a real skeptic when it comes to quick fixes (The folks at PT ReVolution explained that this is not a quick fix, and I need more work done to get complete results), but all I can say is that it worked!! Hoping to get with them and continue the process.

Motorcross Rider

I found the folks at PT ReVolution through the recommendation of a friend. I will admit I was skeptical, as I had been through tons of PT over the years without much results. I had raced professional motocross for most of my life, and was always banged up and injured. I went to see the guys at PT ReVolution out of desperation. I had aches and pains in a bunch of areas, and was no longer able to ride or do much of anything.

Long story short, I am so much better. I am as active as I was 20 years ago, and I continue to do the things I was taught at PT ReVolution. There in depth, hands-on approach is nothing like I was used to. Effective and helpful. I have since sent a number of my motocross students for assessment and treatment. Can't recommend them enough.

Before coming to PT ReVolution, I had been having trouble with my hamstrings, as they hurt and acted up my entire junior year of high school. Right before track regionals, I tore my left hamstring. The folks at PT ReVolution diagnosed me very quickly, developed a plan, and started getting me better. I was unaware that my hamstring tore, due to some underlying issues with my pelvis, hip, lumbar spine, and even my ankle/foot. I got better quickly and ended up running better than ever! My team made it all the way to state! I have become faster, due to the work the staff at PT ReVolution did on my body. I also no longer have the daily aches and pains that I thought were "normal" (They explained that no pain is normal). Lingering Knee Pain - AFTER Total Knee Replacement

My name is Sue Davis, and I wanted to share my journey with you. I had a right total knee replacement a few years ago. Although the surgeon did a great job with the surgery, I still had tremendous pain over the following two years. I was to the point where I could not be active, as I had constant 8/10 in my right knee. Life simply was not fun. I had physical therapy at a couple of different facilities, but my knee did not improve. My surgeon did not know what to tell me, as the knee “looked good” with x-rays and testing.

Fast forward to today. I am now pain free in my right knee and more active than I have been in years. Life is good again! I was blessed to find the folks at PT ReVolution. The in-depth and hands-on approach they provided was so much different (and effective) than my previous physical therapy providers. My problems were not just in my knee, but in my spine, pelvis, hip, and ankle/foot. My knee was actually the least of my issues (so I learned). My entire junior year of high school football and baseball was a struggle. I was having tremendous lower back pain and pain down my legs. I was two weeks away from having spinal fusion surgery, as I was told that was my only option. That surgery was going to end my career and dash my hopes of playing collegiate sports.
